Climate change, as one of the most critical global challenges, will lead to the weakening of development over the next century, and its consequences, such as drought, severely threaten the livelihoods of local communities in Kerman County. In this regard, enhancing resilience through ecotourism development is considered an effective strategy. Given the research gap in this area, the present study aimed to identify the components of resilience and model its role in the development of sustainable ecotourism in Kerman County. This research is quantitative with a deductive approach, exploratory in nature, and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population consisted of managers and staff of eco-lodges in Kerman County, and the required data were collected through a questionnaire. Data analysis and the presentation of a local model were conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. The findings revealed that all resilience measurement components, including livelihood diversity, governance, participation, adaptation, and infrastructure, have a significant impact on the development of sustainable ecotourism. Among these, the adaptation component was identified as the strongest predictor of sustainable ecotourism development. These results emphasize the importance of strengthening various dimensions of resilience to achieve sustainable ecotourism in the study areas and can provide a basis for local policies to counteract the effects of climate change and enhance the resilience of indigenous communities in Kerman.
