Aims of the Journal

The journal of Geography and Development (GD) provides a forum for presenting innovative approaches to geography research, teaching, and learning. It aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue by publishing high-quality, original, and innovative research in the field of geography and related disciplines. The journal seeks to advance knowledge and promote scholarly exchange by addressing critical issues in geography and development, with a particular focus on the Iranian plateau and its global connections. The main aims of the journal are:
